Mauser C96

The C96 Mauser or Mauser C96 is an antique German semi-auto pistol. It is an iconic pistol from the late 19th century and among the first commercially successful semi-auto pistols. It is sometimes referred to as the ”Box Cannon” due to its relatively powerful cartridge and boxy shape, or the ”Broomhandle” for its round wooden pistol grip. The Mauser was widely used around the world, but was used primarily by the German army in WWI.
